My new Desktop! ^^I upgraded to Windows 7 recently and here is my brand new desktop.
The PataGato fanart was drawn by a good friend of mine I met at fanfiction.net, his penname is BagiraXIII
So thank you very much to him for this great drawing ^^

Glad you liked it, the picture was drawn for me by a good friend of mine ^^
Windows 7 is pretty good man, let me tell you something, ever since I installed it months ago I didn't got any problems with it, I did had once a blue screen of death but that was fault of the processor's fan which wasn't cooling the processor like it used to do it before but that got fixed by buying a new fan and heatsink for it ^^
Other than that all perfect, I did had a few programs crashing but it was my fault for not enabling some compatibility options.
Heck Windows 7 did took my scanner's Windows XP driver since there's no drivers for Vista for it and it works flawlessly ^^
In performance is pretty good, quite fast considering my PC is a 3.2 Ghz Pentiun 4 with Hyper Threading processor aka a one core processor ^^
Seems this time Microsoft landed a good one, mostly since they didn't had to work the visual part so much since the windows system is the same of Vista but with a few tweaks, so having that they could focus on the important part which was performance, handling of resources (as in RAM, Hard Disk and such), compatibility, etc.
I did upgraded a Vista Laptop very recent model to 7, it was from Vista Home Basic to Windows 7 Ultimate and the process was flawless, every program installed, every icon on the desktop and every file was there and the performance speed was perfect for have been an upgrade instead of a clean installation ^^
I really can recommend Windows 7 I have installed it on a couple of laptops (the upgrade one and another laptop that was clean install) and my friend was pretty satisfied with the result ^^

Sounds good, I was just wondering because I run a Vista with a 2.13 ghtz processor duel core and has approximately 3 gigabytes of ram... so I was really wondering if Windows 7 would run good on it...
