So, forget for a moment that I am a cat guy...please...
This shot is really nice. Cats close up are more intricate than people give them credit for.
The eyes - not just the slit that everyone notices right away, but the textures in the eyes and the calm coolness of them, all the while he/she has the claws out, at the ready, JUST IN CASE something happens...
I think you captured the moment very well, which is all any artist can hope for.

i guess i am starting to use DA more like a blog than anything else. not everything is an amazing finished piece of gorgeous artwork...sometimes its just the little moments that fascinate me as an artist. besides, i think it is a pretty decent photo.
