ahhh I'm sorrry Lop, this was supposed to be done by your birthday but I hope you like it. Happy belated birthday!For the awesome and her misguided character Moondancer, humiliated thoroughly in a failed magic duel with Pandora. I imagine that it would have been the epic showdown that Moony has always dreamed of...but, nope. Yet again, he is defeated by either magic or his own hubris.

Holy shit when I watched this scene again, I just HAD to draw it. Moondancer is literally just the marshmallow-horse version of Schmendrick and I cannot unhear his voice while reading Moony's dialogue. I really need to work on my comic-makin skills because it's been like three years since I've made one properly.
I am so very sorry for my recent absence guys! I swear more of my next gen stuff is on the way, along with some other art, so stay tuned!

I really like the color palate too, and apparently they chose to go with blues and violets because black was too expensive. So we were left with a really pretty and fitting coloration.
The part that always gets me is when the unicorn is transformed into a human, because its so frikken tragic that she became something so impure and normal. She lost everything that made her herself and that sucked.

(same here haha, its such an underappreciated movie!! it needs so much more love!! the animation is gorgeous, the storytelling is great, the characters are interesting, and its just overall a great film
