Through hundreds of emotionless years,All I've felt is anger,
All I've seen is smirks and sneers.
Drifting through eternity like a dream,
But last night seemed so real to me.
Like I wasn't the outcast of the team,
Something was there,
Something hung in the air.
The feeling was so new to me,
It was like you knew the real me.
I had the power to face all the things I've done,
Like spring after I'd been numb for so long.
This time it wasn't just for fun.
You rung out my soul,
Hung it up to dry and cleanse,
I've never felt so right.
I can't let this end.
Not when I've just found the light,
I can't forget my one perfect moment,
My one perfect night.
I'll write it all down,
So I can return there again and again.
The place were there is no sound,
Except for us.
I know what we made won't ever be repeated,
So I can't see you again to save myself.
Not when your memories of me have been deleted,
Cause by forgetting me and saving yourself,
You're making me want to kill myself.

i don't know why you don't like...but as artists, we are our own biggest critics. I love that piece of writing and I'm more of a writer than i am a photographer. writing is my first and only passion at the moment, but taking photos is a lot of fun too!

ahh ^_^ yeah.. I know what you mean.. argh.. I'd love to be a photographer.. it captures something in such simplicity.. that sometimes doesn't come with words.
I can't take very good pictures yet though.. ^_^; I'ma workin on it.

for me...I just need to buy my own camera. I have a friend who is going to sell me his camera body and a few lenses for $600....So pretty soon I'll be able to do a lot more on here. For right now, I'm just using friends camera's and they are sending them to me! Photography is a wonderful thing....like you said...it captures something in such simplicity..... it's always nice to be able to catch something in the moment.

hmm.. what kind of picture would you like to capture? sort of like.. what general essense..?
I just have a 150 dollar one... ^_^; I don't think I'll be able to afford anything else anytime soon...
and uh.. I dressed up this sad clown sculpture I own, named Everett, in tinsel and pink decorative beads.. and someone called it a party buddha. So not. What. I wanted. To get across.

For me, I just want to capture the essence of being at peace. Like calming water, or even just someone sitting in the middle of an empty room. I don't think that anyone can be fully at peace, unless they have passed on.
It's hard to capture now a days with the busy lifestyle that most of us do lead. I just want to capture that so I can go back and look at it, and maybe just for a moment, feel at peace.

you are right. if you want to know what being a hermit is like..you should meet my room mate. he never leaves his room for anything except to eat. at least he showers.....lol!

mm. I always wondered what it would be like to be a hermit.. I wonder if there is someway to access work that they leave behind once they've passed on... i'd probably be quite beautiful and unique.
