holy crap i'm the worst

i haven't spent all my available round-doing time doing this one! there is a second part well on the way - and one that's slightly more experimental in style and which shouldn't be too long in coming!

as i've said throughout, this is gonna be a long process and one that i'm intending to take my time over! my enthusiasm for the whole OCT thing dropped significantly quite some time ago (although, in its prime, it was an enormously fun thing to be involved in and something that has helped my art unbelievably) but i'm going to finish this, however long it takes

and it's going to be about 's character as much as it's about moon. that's because, as well as being probably the most positive artistic influence i have met on the site, she's also worked her ass off for every single competitor she's been against. so even if it takes me a while and the whole process is going to drag on a bit, i am going to finish it.

so yeah! this is part one! much of this was drawn before i started drawing things differently and, as such, i'm not entirely happy with it or anything - i just had to get it done and out of the way so i can return to page two in which a more comfortable, agreeable style is used.

sorry it took so long, spec! you deserve so much more and so much better than what my long-ass delay has yielded but i hope to repay you more with each page!

(don't be surprised if i spot a mistake and upload a new version in the near future! i always submit it and find something i didn't notice before exporting! my process is hella messy)
