Glad you liked it, I had fun doing it... Btw, the ears and the teeth, are NOT mine... The rest is all me...

*while smiling enigmatically* You don't... It's called a risk... *extends a pale hand towards her* And I promise you, I won't do anything you don't want me to...

*smiles and exposes left fang* You stopped right? *watches her in the eyes and slowly brings her hand up to his mouth*
Do not be afraid... If I wanted to feed on you, I would have already done so... *he kisses her hand while savoring her scent*

*gently lets her hand go, as he smiles once more* Come, the night is still young, and we must make the best of it... *he starts to walk towards a nearby lake* It's the only place I can still see my reflection... Only the waters of this lake, and only before moonrise... *looks into the waters as the Moon begins to rise behind him* It's a full moon tonight... Will you dance with me? *gently bows before her as he extends his hand once more*

*takes his hand, smiling* Of course. I must warn you though that dancing isn't one of my talents *laughs a little, a blush on the fair skin of her cheeks*

*While lightly and slowly leading, pulls her softly closer and whispers in her ear* Do not worry, I have been practising for centuries... *And that hint of a smile appears again in the corner of his mouth*

*follows, relaxing* I'll just follow you then.... *normally she'd be afraid of being this close to a vampire but he seems nice enough and sincere in his words that he won't hurt her*

*as he takes her waist and starts to dance to some music only he could hear, he slowly starts to use his Vampire talent of levitation. While still holding on to her, he gently lifts both of them from the ground, he goes directly in the center of the lake, with the full moon glistening in her eyes* In you I see what was once of me... The color in your cheeks, the deafening sound of your heart I can feel beating, the subtle uncertainty hou have when you took my hand... *slowly descending towards the shore* This has been the best night I have had since several decades... *touching her down slowly and bringing her hand to his mouth* I will be waiting for you, in the next full moon... Right here... *he kisses her hand, a rose appears out of nowhere and he gives it to her...* May it never wither... *And having said that, he turned into mist and flew to the Full Moon...

*watches until he's gone from view and then she looks down at the rose and with a smile. She inhales its aroma with a quiet sigh as she looks back at the sky before starting on her way home*

Very good work. Your style has an enigmatic feel. Very appealing. I like this one better than the one with the brighter multi-colors. The color scheme works well here.
"Ruthven" was the name Polidori used in his short story "Vampyre", but the name has come up in other places in Byron's lifetime too. For instance, that was the name of the tenant who rented his Newstead Abbey before he came of age and lived there himself. (It has also been speculated that Byron had a relationship with this man briefly during a summer he stayed there away from school as a teenager.) I have also read a fictional vampire story starring Byron as a vampire who later went by the alias of Lord Ruthven. [ Lord of the Dead, by Tom Holland, and the sequel, Slave of my Thirst.]

Thank you for your good words. And also thank you for the reference to Ruthven, now I can get all the information I need about him...Me...US!!!!
Well, the multicolored version was, as the name says, in a Negative Plain, where all negative energy from all dimensions comes, thus looking nothing like he did on our plain of existence. So, his thoughts and rather evil mentality transform the outside to look like what's in the inside, but amplified 1000 times more by the negative plain... Hence the left eye is really devilish (a direct result of Vampire nature makes plasma snakes a part of the face), whereas the right eye is more calm (the tiny human aspects that still remain within)... I tried to get both aspects of a Vampire's existence into this... Probably need more work... What did you think of the text I wrote? I wanted it to have somewhat of a book feeling to it...
As for the sepia toned one, I liked it because it looked like a really sinister portrait...
