Sweet picture, but you should have made better use of the tripod/timer.

Excellent colors! And I like the angle. It keeps the shot from being too static.

THATS the word i've been looking for!!!
'static' that's how ive been feeling about my recent shots!
I hate winter--it's still dragging on here...just getting me depro and i guess when it gets a little warmer i'll be photographing like crazy

A friendly word of advice. Use foreground with the background to create a sense of depth and perspective, and where possible. Here the railing helps as much or more than the camera tilt. The way it curves into the distance leads the eye into the shot and gives a sense of movement. The tilt only enhances that. After looking at some of your other works, it's the lack of foreground that leaves some of them a bit static. Start thinking in 3 dimensions before you take your shot. And yes, sometimes a flat shot is what's needed. The only absolute is there are no absolutes.
And I know what you mean. We have snow in the forecast for later in the week. I'm ready for spring pictures myself.

Keep it in mind with every shot. Doesn't mean you have to use it, and it's good practice.

I find akward angles so hard to appreciate but the line in this picture just makes me dive in and explore the entirety of the image, well done.
I think it's even better at this 45' angle, so I think you chose wisely! I'm surprised I like it so much so it's quite accomplished.

Yea I'm not quite sure why i went with the sideways angle...i don't like them much either, but it seemed to suite the vertical and horizontal lines ahead ^_^
Thank you

love it, but yet again your massive border takes away from the focus of the image. Good choice on text placement/color though, just seems to be part of the image.
Try a smaller border

I like big borders ^_^
If you like, you can copy and paste this into adobe and take off the boarder and then look at it and tell me if you like the photo...
The text color was actually chosen from the sky's colors, i felt white overwhelmed the image so i stuck with something subtle. After all, its not the text i want people's eyes to be drawn to; its the photo its self.
