This is beyond epic.
If my teacher assigned homework like this(mapping, astronomy, trivial) i would LOVE IT! But, the kids in my class(emphasis on my) would cry or complain.

Are these 7 pieces supposed to be telling the story of the little boy growing up and becoming an explorer? :3 Your backgrounds are all so vibrant, great composition!

Wow! I wish it could look half as picturesque when I'm studying/finishing a project and mess up my whole room in the process... haha, but this inspired me to try! And I'm certainly taking my telescope out again (which is not as rustically charming as the one you drew here, of course).
I love how his cat is just sitting there watching him work.

Homework should always be this interesting, when you have a fantastic study, beautiful antique maps, volumes of interesting books, tasty treats, a powerful telescope, a huge globe on a stand and of course your loyal animal companion! I love the colors and details! Congratulations on your DD!
