Yup... This is an absolutely pointless project that I am not even happy with. I mean, really, what does the etymology behind my name have to do with memoirs, autobiographies, and biographies? It's absolutely, one hundred percent, pointless.Related content

A the destiny of a name. Its not the parents but the gods that decide what name, what desitiny we should have. Then either we live up to the name or maybe we become a sarcastic rendition of the name. The true making of a poetic story. Then again maybe people didn't have a clue when they named us.

Beautifully written.
I actually prefer the Latin meaning of my name over all others. It means "victory of wisdom", and I am often called wise beyond my years.

See you are the making of a true Greek Mythos heroine. A thing of legend yet to be told if only you can survive Mr Fin

Thank you very much. I actually steep myself in the world's mythologies as well as religions and histories. I'm much more interested in the past than the present or future. We can only witness the present before reflecting upon it and seeing it in greater detail, and the future is only speculation, so I prefer the rich depths of history in all its vastness.

The past is poorly known and as people learn about it they are forced to realize that their knowledge of the present is built on false assumptions and their visions of the future are built on those present day truths so a better understanding of the past challenges the common knowledge that people spew while trying to sound wise in the local tavern.

Someone who understands! XD I am actually a very philosophical person, and take a wide perspective when it comes to anything requiring deep thought. XD I once got into a fight with someone over whether or not black and white actually existed as we think of them.

That's like me stating there is no race genes only collections of common genes for given traits that when combined in a basket of genes because they are common with a certian group of people we decide to call that a race. But then I like challenging folks. Like the union steward I challenged by telling him 50% of all people are below average. He wanted to argue that 80% of all people are above average. I didn't have the heart to tell him that "average" means the 50% line so half must be below the line.

Well, it is said that a person is shaped by their name...
But you should consider yourself very lucky... My name is an Archaic english word for cushion. xD

Yes... it is! xD
It is especially ironic considering the way that I just LOVE archaic words. They are just so much more descriptive and so much less watered down than modern english!
