Description
Every year some falcons visit this village. We had a home for owls and first they fought with them because they wanted to stay here, too. The owls won, but dad and me decided to build a home for them. A few days it stayed empty, but then the falcons began to discover it. And a few months later we could see tiny fluffy heads looking through the door of their new home. This was three or four years ago. Now their children were too brave and tried to fly around pretty early.
I was in the barn beneath our house when i heard two small things falling on the roof. I wondered but i didn't care much. A few moments later something on the roof began to scratch. And then two things crawled up and down the roof. This was really scary. Being frightened i got out the barn to see what this could be. And i looked into four big black exited eyes.
I decided to climb up the roof so i could take a bunch of photos. This is one of the best ones because i could get really close this time. The falcon stayed really calm. Like a patient wild hunter. But a few moments after i took this shot he scuttled away.
