Description
This is a realistic version of my dream roster.Super Mario Bros: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Rosalina & Luma and Bowser.
Yoshi's Island: Yoshi.
Donkey Kong: Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and King K. Rool.
Warioware: Wario.
Earthbound: Ness and Lucas.
The Legend of Zelda: Link, Zelda, Sheik, Ganondorf and Toon Link.
Animal Crossing: Villager.
Pokémon: Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Mewtwo, Lucario and Greninja.
Kirby: Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight and Bandana Dee.
Kid Icarus: Pit and Palutena.
Metroid: Samus and Zero Suit Samus.
Star Fox: Fox, Falco and Wolf.
Pikmin: Olimar.
Fire Emblem: Marth, Ike and Chrom.
Golden Sun: Isaac.
Ice Climber: Ice Climbers.
Punch-Out!: Little Mac.

I honestly would rather see Bomberman in Smash Bros 4 as a 3rd party character then Snake, but other than that, this roster is not only really awesome, but realistic and possible as well(and I do like Snake a lot, I just feel Bomberman is more deserving of a spot in the smash bros roster)

I would love Bomberman too, but I don't know if we'll get a Konami rep this time, and if we get it will probably be Snake again, if for some reason we get Bomberman, this game is gonna explode of such awesomeness.

i don't mean to offend but he's just a terrible character. he proves it him self. by just holding the shield button he kills himself. KILLS HIMSELF! and i'm made enough about toon link he's just eating up the roster. all he was in brawl was a faster, lighter, weaker copy of link. If i were nintendo just make it that like changes to young link to adult link by placing and removing the master sword from its stand it makes more sense than to have two clones.

The ones I like the most at the moment are Little Mac, Greninja and Rosalina, but I'm fine with all of them.

This is actually the most realistic fan-roster I've seen to date, though I'm not entirely sure about Black Shadow and Captain Rainbow.

Thank you, I'm not sure about some here either, but these are my most wanted newcomers, and I think that they would be awesome additions to the roster, and Black Shadow could just use Ganondorf's old moveset, while this one gets a complete overhaul, who knows, everything can happen hahha

Well, Namco Bandai is co-developing the game, and there are some confirmed items from them already, so I wouldn't say it's impossible at all.

Nothing is impossible at this point, but Pac-man is one of the things I'd file into the category of 'highly unlikely'. I don't think that just because Namco is co-developing it means they're going to stick their own iconic character into Nintendo's fanservice stew. Pacman is absolutely known for his /arcade/ releases, and isn't in any way significant to Nintendo's history like say Megaman is. (No, it doesn't matter how many console releases Pacman has had on Nintendo, I maintain that his significance is in the arcade and unrelated to Nintendo.)
....still... we DID get Pong as an Assist Trophy, so I suppose it's more likely than I considered it to be before...

Well, I don't really know what his chances are by now, but I still think it would be a cool addition, he has potential and is not a strange guest on a Nintendo game, he appeared in some Arcade Mario Karts, I guess we'll just have to wait and see, if he is in, great, if not, it's okay too

That's exactly it, though-- his crossovers with Mario were in the ARCADE games. On his home turf. If I recall correctly, Pacman has never had a nintendo crossover on console releases-- if anything, his console releases are more tied to the success of whichever console happens to be the best at the time (and in past decades, that's usually Nintendo).
I wouldn't be hating on him if he gets in, but... Something about Pacman in Smash Bros just doesn't seem right to me. It doesn't seem plausible, because Pacman basically has nothing to do with Nintendo (which is weird because he technically does, but it really feels like he doesn't.) It's just a weird scene and I'm not counting on it at all.

Anyway, Pac-Man is still recognizable worldwide, and if they do include him, it would be a great marketing ploy. And that's exactly why 3rd party characters are in Super Smash Bros, they know if they include a famous character, the fans of that game will play Smash Bros and vice versa.

What would it be marketing for? :0 Does Nintendo have some Pacman game they want to sell? ...if you're insinuating that Smash Bros needs the help selling, it most certainly doesn't. The fact of the matter is that so long as they make the appropriate effort, any Smash Bros game ever will sell well regardless of who's in it. It just has that kind of power. Besides that, Pac-man is a has-been, and the audience he would appeal to that wouldn't already be buying the game is VERY small.

There aren't really many Pac-Man fans today, but there are still some nostalgic fans who liked the first ones, and if Pac-Man was in, the notice would spread worlwide, just like it did with Mega Man, Snake and Sonic, I am not saying that Smash Bros need help selling, because it doesn't, Smash Bros will sell very well regardless, but just like they do with many franchises that participate in Smash Bros (read Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus), when a character is in the game, people automatically want to know more about it, Fire Emblem was nothing in America before Smash and Kid Icarus was dead, and look at them now, so what I'm trying to say is that it would be some kind of cooperation, Smash players could give a chance to Pac's new games, which are not selling well by now, and some nostalgic old fans of Pac-Man could start playing Smash and subsequently start playing other Nintendo franchises, in my opinion it would be very smart.

Well... the thing is, no, anything really ISN'T necessarily possible. :0 Some characters are pretty safe bets to NEVER be in SSB. I don't know if Pacman is one of them... ...but he's pretty close, I'd say.

It's not the end of the world for me if Pac-Man doesn't make it in. The Newcomers we've got so far more than make up for it.
If only most fans could be of the same mindset, with their refusal to play because Rayman, Ridley or King K. Rool aren't playable.

Well that'd just be dumb. I was one of the most infamous Ridley fans on AllisBrawl at some point, and even though I definitely want him playable (and it's almost certain that he won't be), I'm plenty happy with the roster we've got so far.
As for K. Rool, there's still hope for him yet... >3> Kremlings showed up in the trailer for Smash Run, after all...

Ridley was hinted to be a Boss stage hazard for Pyrosphere similar to Yellow Devil at Castle Wily, so I think we can rule him out. As for King K. Rool...I'm not super enthusiastic about the idea of him being playable, but if he is announced as a Newcomer, I'll be happy for those that did want him in, and take pleasure in the fact that we're getting another villain/big guy character to mix things up.

The guy who voiced for ScrewAttack's "Other Characters for Smash Bros" follow-up to their Top 5 wishlist (which is awful, by the way) also mentioned King K. Rool, and he makes it sound very honest and agreeable. I can't refuse a character to someone who doesn't come off as an overhyped fanboy.

Well I've never played DKC and have no attachment to them, so take it from me-- K. Rool looks like a pretty cool potential player after seeing some footage of the old DKC games.
Anyway I'm sorry to hear that you have so much derision for fans' enthusiasm. ~3~ (I mean I know the guy in the vid I listed doesn't do the greatest voiceover job and talking about moves is kind of pointless but it's not like the points he made were terrible or anything.)

I think if they do include King K. Rool, they should incorporate elements of those old games, particularly Donkey Kong 64, with his Boxing aspects.
And yea, sadly that's what almost drove me away from Little Mac and Greninja. I could see Little Mac working as a playable character, but the constant talk of it on fan forums was just too intrusive to make me enthusiastic about it. And I only saw a few requests out there for Greninja, and because we had Pokemon Trainer to think about before the Direct, it just seemed like wishing for the impossible. But, that's all in the past now, and both of them look like the most promising Newcomers to date (as well as Mega Man).
Sometimes, the best honesty comes from lack of a script, but knowing exactly what you want to say when it comes to Vlogs.
