From my old account.The commander from the game Warhammer 40k, and it's computer game adaptation. Probably one of my most favored games. He's the leader unit of the Tau race, and he's totally badass
A rare example of not only a imagined scene (as opposed to reference) but also a color scene. Two things I don't do very often.

The Tau are the best if you ask me, not very good at close combat though.
To bad the enemy never gets that close though. *chuckle*

except for orks. orks will always stand up to the greater good, simply because the tau will never have enough bullets to kill them all, and simply because they are so hard to eradicate.

so do i. until you factor in politics, war, starvation, constant, death, being forced to work for money, which is then taxed of a bit, then there's pollution and another planet full of problems. but still, better than living in warhammer 40K

IΒ΄d rather be under the Tau, because theyΒ΄re all like pacifists, hippies, and just annoy the other species autoclaiming they are superior beings and the will conquer the whole universe. I donΒ΄t know if you step aside of that situation it becomes very funny. Haha. But facing it if we were actually in Warhammer 40K weΒ΄ll all be srewed under some xenophobic Imperial General ready to shoot anyone of us just to bring self-respect. ThatΒ΄d suck. :/

you forgot the mindless, yet surprisingly dangerous hordes of people who would drag you down and gut you with their fingernails if you so much as stated that people who live under the tau have it better than you, the inquisitors who would destroy entire start systems because one of the inhabitants bumped inot them in the halls, the orks that dont give a shit and murder anything they see, overzealous space marines, daemons, chaos space marines, tyranids, and basically anything that exists in the 40K universe. but yeah, it'd be nice to live under the tau.

i recently reinstalled it on my pc and i have restarted with the tau campaign, was checking out the commander upgrades and well, you have em all!
from the helmet, drones, add. armor, jetpacks, and guns, nice beautifully drawn and nice colors! especially the lights.

Because a railgun, a flamethrower, a jetpack, two rocket launchers, a personal stealth field, high-technological armour and improved sensors just aren't enough to get the job done.

Necrons are awesome! They are immortal, they have amazing tech, and they do not have the factor of courage, they go in to kill, nothing psychologic, whilst a human worrier may still fear death. Necrons are amazing!!
