Blitz is a daredevil with a love for dangerous aerial stunts since he first tasted it, you could say he's literally addicted to the rush. Flying with enormous speed is in his blood. He once formed a aerial stunt performing team with his older brother Thunder Strike, but he went solo after a fight between the two. Like his (future) daughter, Blitz also got his own move (unnamed yet, lol). When he isn't flying he is spending time with his girl or napping on a cloud.

Blitz' cutie mark is a green-blue-purple lightning streak with black fire behind it. It stands for his love for speed, and the black fire trail he leaves behind while flying.

He became known as the best flyer around. This drew the attention from Sunset Breeze, a pretty pegasus mare. Blitz soon became famous with thousands of female fans, however he always staid loyal to his mate.

Blitz and Sunset were both very young when Sunset felt pregnant with Dash. When Dash was just a baby Blitz was almost killed while performing a dangerous stunt. Sunset feared for her mates life and wanted him to temporary quit, so he had more time for his family. Blitz took a job at a snowflake factory, and since then never performed again. He became chubby and slow and worked many hours. When he came home he landed on his chair, watching television or reading the news paper. Untill that black day...

I loved the idea that RD's hair is a combination of her parent's hair, so I did that. She got red-orange-yellow from mom and purple-blue-green from dad. Dash inherited her father's coat but a lighter variant thanks to her mother. Blitz' wings are bigger then the regular Pegasi's. When he flies, he leaves a trail of black fire behind, when he's mad, black thunder clouds appear at the sky.

Blitz would be Dash's biggest hero if she ever knew what he was and what he did before she was born. I never read somewhere if Dash her parents are dead. If they aren't, I think that they lost contact. In my version its would be because Dash was sick of her constant classing with her mother, her polar opposite, their over protectiveness and both parent's forbidding her to do dangerous stuff.

If they are, this is my idea: Dash rebelled against her parent's strict rules not to do anything dangerous. She always went flying and performing tricks with some colt friends. One day her father caught her doing tricks. Dash flew away from him, but her father followed her. Surprised by her fathers speed she started flapping her wings harder. Exhausted at some point she became unconscious, and started falling. Blitz could catch her in time, but his weak wing (the wing he hurt at the accident that almost killed him) started to refuse to flap, like some kind of cramp. Blitz tried the best he could, but his wing kept refusing. He accepted his faith, and fell to the earth with his hooves protectively around Dash. Blitz crashed into the ground. He died instantly with no pain. When Dash woke up, she laid on her father's belly. He looked like he was sleeping, but Dash felt deep inside he didn't...

Her mother was so incredibly sad, she didn't stop grieving over the loss of the love of her life. She literally died of a broken heart...

Its sad, its sad...
