Description

Those of you played Putt-Putt Zoo in the past remembers the Freddi Fish Cameos. I say “cameos” because there are two where Freddi makes an appearance in the Cartown Universe. The first appearance is during the Welcome To The Zoo song. One of the topiary animals mentions during the song that he hasn’t written the end verse of the Zoo Welcome Song. Just after saying that, Freddi leaps from the paper he’s writing on. That is such a memorable cameo.

This drawing however, details the second appearance of Freddi Fish as well as her friend, Luther. Just after getting caught on a river rapid current, our favorite purple convertible gets pulled under the water by a river whirlpool. Just when Putt-Putt thinks all hope is lost, Freddi and Luther arrive on the scene from an underwater cave and quickly swim under the raft, launching it to the surface. I was always confused by this when I was younger, because it has been established in the games that both fish live in the ocean and not the river. Regardless, it’s still a fun little cameo which is also very memorable. I hope this tribute turned out ok enough.
