How's it going people?

So here's a picture of Raccoon Mario exploring his world and trying to rescue the princess as per usual. This is actually a composition I drew back around the same time as my most viewed deviation, "Welcome to Super Mario World." This was also way before Super Mario 3D Land came out. As you can see, I was just experimenting with 2D vs 3D, but I digress.

This was fun to draw, but it was mostly inspired by a jazz version of Super Mario 3 by Soichi Noriki. One thing I regret doing is shading too heavy on the lines, but whatever. It is what it is. It was a bit of a struggle because I wanted the lighting to be both afternoon sunlight and soft moonlight. Eh, to be fair, there's always room for improvement. Just let me know if the image is unbalanced somehow, and I will modify it later.
