Ariel Maerdrym and Eliath Jhalaer were recently attendees at a yearly Jubilee hosted by an unpleasant local Count. There are many events, games and lots of wine and food.

One of the most popular events was a jousting competition. A young servant woman approached the pair and asked them if they were going to participate.

"I don't anything about jousting." Ariel replied with a touch of embarrassment. "I've never even been on a horse before, let alone used a lance. I think I'd be pretty hopeless."

"What about you, Sir?" the young woman inquired to Eliath.

"Jousting!" Eliath smiled, taking on a dreamy expression. "Legs tightly clamped around your stallion, you surge forward gripping your powerful lance, its fearsome tip the focus of the thrusting force that will strike the other man’s vulnerability, lifting him from his seat and casting him down to lie prone before you!"

"Oh!" Ariel exclaimed, eyes bright. "I'll do it, sign me up!"

In our recent RPG sessions skullard gave Eliath such wonderfully suggestive dialogue that I had to commemorate it in some way. Both elves ended up trying their luck at jousting! Ariel was knocked down after the second pass, but he had fun trying. Eliath had never attempted the sport before either, but ended up winning second place and was awarded a lovely silver chalice.

Sorry friends, I'm quite behind at favoriting and commenting on your artworks and on replying to the wonderful comments that you leave for me. It's been a bad week for insomnia so my brain is a bit slow these days. But I'm trying to catch up again! I love seeing all your wonderful characters and awesome images. I'll do my best to get back up to date!

I've also been busying myself trying to manually copy all my character morphs and information into a notebook as a hard copy backup in case my computer ever blows up.  Do any of my other 3D artist friends ever do this?
