Justice from the Guilty Gear series.Drawn for the Fighting Game Boss Tribute: Round II at
Whew, it's times like these I really curse my work, this pic took way longer than it should thanks to my almost nonexistent free time... meh, at the very least I'll be able to afford Pokemon Moon at day 1 thanks to the bonus cash...
Anyways, I chose Justice out of the possible entries for several reasons. For one, I really love her xenomorph~evangelion design, two, I really wnated to draw something inhuman but not cartoonish, and three, I also wanted to draw something with a lot, LOT of details, and finally, it has been a while since I drew a GG character, and I really love GG character designs.
Suffice to say, I am really happy with how this came out, I struggled a bit with the pose, and I'm sure it's far from perfect, but I enjoyed drawing it, and I hope you guys like how she came out.

I always put a lot of effort in my drawings, how it looks in the end is heavily dependant on the character's design and amount of details ^^

Yeeaaaahh! Testament momma! Indeed, her concept design is really interesting, hardly human, mainly, genderless, I love it, also, other than Testament a REAL PAIN of a boss in the series~ Her tail remembers me of the Xenomorph aliens, mainly Drone and her armor is epic, u did a very good job as always, so many details and patience, also her action pose is on the spot! Congratulations for ur good job! ~

Yes, her amazing design coupled with the ridiculous difficulty kinda gave many fans mixed feelings about her, but she sure stood out nonetheless ^^

I love this one!!! I don't even know the character, but the accenting details (those lines on the tail, leg joints, etc) really add something here and I can't even describe why

Many thanks, it was pretty hard drawing her in a dynamic pose, due to her inhuman anatomy and all the details, but I guess it was worth it ^^

Sometimes I think it's easier to draw inhuman characters and make them look good because it's harder for the audience to spot "flaws" with anatomy they're not familiar with. But it's also harder to succeed with anatomy you're not familiar with

Czego używasz do uzyskania tak gładkiej czerni XDD ??

Zawsze rysuje wylacznie cienkopisem, marki Stabilo.
Jednakże po zeskanowaniu, ustawiam kontrast w Gimpie (to jedyna rzecz, którą tam potrafię XD), by ujednolicić kolor i pozbyc sie wiekszości zabrudzeń.

Justice: a very tragic character, as she constantly remembers and reminds herself of the tragic obliteration of Japan, thus her self loathing for hundreds of years

To be honest, there is no character in GG who doesn't have something tragic in their backstory. I always found Axl and Tesu to be the saddest ones (despite Axl's generally positive attitude)

BTW I love the title and description. It makes me wanna hear some Metallica (...And Justice For All) and Foo Fighters (Times Like These).

Hehe, yeah, her gender was never really showcased, but it was made clear that she is a female.
As for the title, it's something I do for all GG characters (and BlazBlue ones too for that matter). Cause you know how full of rock/metal references GG is, so I thought it would only be fitting to have GG fanarts have titles that are rock/metal songs ^^

And yeah, that hairstyle of hers might be pretty off with her robotic design, but it's part of her charm ^^ and such long, anime hair seems to work really well with my style.

She's a Gear, to put it simply, a magical~mecha creature who's only purpose is to fight and kill, hence there is no need for gender characteristics and such.

Hehe, thanks for the kind words, but yes, I did struggle a lot when drawing her pose. Her very inhuman anatomy made it hard to picture her accurately in a dynamic pose and even after all that, I can still see some minor errors (like her right arm and shoulder pad).
But glad to know it looks good ^^

Hehe, it might not be evident, since her design is more focused on her being a killing machine rather to showcase her gender (like most such monster girls), but yes, she is female and it was mentioned quite a few times.
She's also the mother of Dizzy by the way.
