So yeah, how many of you have heard about (let alone play) Vexx here?
I'm guessing not many. Despite coming out for all 3 major consoles of it's time (PS2,GCN & Xbox), it was criminally underrated. Granted, the market was flooded with 3D platformers back then, but still, Vexx was a step above the "generic" type. Sure, it wasn't the most inventive of games, but the platformer part was solid, the slasher-like combo system was very entertaining and new to the genre, the graphics were great and very pleasing, especially the breathtaking sceneries, the character design was cool and it had a rich enough story and lore to keep you involved. All in all, it was solid title, and one certainly worth checking out if you'll get the chance.
As for the art and character, I couldn't resist trying the lunging pose again, especially with those badass talons he has, plus, his unique, cartoonish anatomy made it a bit more challenging than usual. But surprisingly, it went easier than I thought, I must be getting back in shape ^^
