also, i was wondering: did you paint straight on the pages or did you paste the painted pages in? i was always baffled by that.

Aw, thanks a bunch!

I painted directly on the pages, which was a bit difficult at times. I found it was easier to paint on the pages if you put a base coat first.

huh. i was always worried that they would become wrinkled or that they would not be able to stand up to having both sides painted. when i painted, i painted on a separate piece of paper and rubber-cemented it in (:

Yeah, the pages did wrinkle a bit (a lot, depending upon how much paint and water is used), but I just attributed it to "occupational hazard". (;

Lol. I've gone without sleep to try to get it finished by tomorrow. I (finally) checked my email today and received a newsletter saying that the postmark date has been postponed until Tuesday, due to weather conditions. Also, your book doesn't need to be complete to go on tour. Apparently, somebody up there likes us.
