This is probably the reason I haven't posted anything in a little while...Anyway, here is my Leo and Master Splinter scetch all pimped out with colour. Really took my time with this one. because I wanted it too look good. And woot! my first time with a tablet. (it's shmexy)
Why the title? because I was listening to Hawthorn Height's "Saying Sorry" when I thought of it.
"Saying goodbye this time,
the same old story
Seeing you cry,

I actually am very im pressed with this painting. it's a beautiful colored callback to the old days of the turtles, back when they were dark with tons of gore and violence. This looks amazing, and reminds me of the original turtles in the comics where Oroku Saki the Shredder assassinated Hamato Yoshi leaving the fourbrothers in a vengeful state out to destroy the foot clan and avenge their fallen master.

you are most welcome, there arne't very many modern references back to the days when the turtles were more serious and really embodied the traditions of ninjitsu with loss, revenge, and brutality. this emotional piece is a perfect reference to how they were originally intended, before the critics decided they weren't child friendly enough and we ended up with that irritating but comical series fromthe 1980's.

It's not particularily something that sujests a direct ulternitive. Higher concept means more of a way of thought. Yaoi-sh (uncertain of the proper spelling for that word) seems a tad linear.
