I made this one for her, she's an interior decorator and specialized in colours

the first think i notice about this image is how it tilts down to the left...its easy to fix that with any photo editing software. i understand your reasonn for leaving the woman in color, because it's for your mom -- but i think i might like it better if it was all black and white. i just dont think theres enough color left to make it worthwhile?...you also might have som exposure issues, because we should be able to see some details in her coat and we cant because they're all blocked up.
i think with a little more tinkering in photoshop and this could be real nice -- the central focus with the composition works with the subject

Great pic. The hint of colour on your mum looks really nice.
Only little drawback (this is just my opinion here), is that the building at the back is lopsided.
