Carousel horse of my series. Done for my grandmother with the black and white checkers of the car racing finish line flag. She loves carousel horses and worked in Formula One registration and stuff for races... so yeah.

Watercolor on drawing paper (I don't recommend it... I was just too chicken to work out the anatomy in pencil on my hot pressed watercolor paper)

That dark bay is layer after layer of paint color put on and lifted strategically to get the highlights right.

this was taken w/ my camera so the quality of the picture is crap.
