Another Cheryl comic! Expanding her universe! ((I think she and Leon are now officially separate from my other OCs, with their own world and plots.))Introducing another person suffering from a fruit based chronic condition, Gabriela, or Ruby Raspberry/Ravishing Ruby the Adult Actress from Brazil!
She's not going to be a major character- just in the background in sight gags, pushing Cheryl's or Leon's buttons. Etc.
So, don't expect much of her~

I am Guessing what Cheryl is thinking that those who abuse their chronic juicy condition is no better than the *Cue footage being cut with a Test Screen pattern and a Deep Tone Hum as I used some Derogatory Language about Porn Stars and the Smut that is so easy to get to on the internet. That's definitely a huge part of it.
Cheryl is ashamed of her condition- and while she hates "pity" she feels that she (and other fruit women) deserve at least to be respected. And she feels that people like Ruby and fruit fetishists stand in the way of that respect. She finds it offensive~

Personally, given his head-to-desk pose, I don't think he could bring himself to delete that folder, despite his girlfriend's harsh words. Β Trying to give up a fetish is hard and depressing. Β Believe me, I tried a couple times.
Hmm. Β I know I said that Gabriela seemed flat and uninteresting during the stream last night, but I'm starting to come around. Β I'd imagine, given her condition and her flaunty nature about it, it's as much a fetish for her as it is for her viewership, so her involved in a fetish community is not completely out of the question. Β That would entail all that a community provides, such as comfort for those who think they are weird or advice from older, wiser members. Β I could imagine a "Mr. Noel" sending a message to Ruby, telling her how much he loves his girlfriend, in spite of, and, to a degree, because of her blueberrism, but is worried that showing her his fetish could drive her away from him. Β Perhaps he would also mention that his girlfriend sees her condition primarily as a curse, and fears that such thoughts are not healthy for her long term. Β I'm not quite sure how good of advice an adult entertainer could provide for "Mr. Noel," but you can find wisdom in the most unexpected of places, in my experience, and I would not be surprised if Gabriela was not all that thrilled with being a human fruit in the beginning.

Leon strikes me as the type to put himself through unnecessary stress at things Cheryl says. And technically, there is no point to deleting his folder. Cheryl doesn't know about it, didn't tell him to delete it, and Leon wouldn't give up his fetish just his porn.
Yes, she probably has quite the story of her own. How you deal with a life threatening condition is bound to be full of more angst than happiness at least for the first few months/years. And that is a fantastic idea, I think I may do that as a comic! (Ruby's Advice Column). I've been tempted to expand on her character more and more, but I think I'll focus on Cheryl and Leon for a bit longer before I think about doing that.

Possibly- but it's more likely to be a webcam/chatroom support group as having that many fruit in a single space would likely be impractical or dangerous. Especially since they'd have to meet far from their homes.

She's mildly influenced by her moods, it's not intense but a particularly strong bout of anger could quicken her expansion time by about 15 - 30 minutes.
