Yesterday, I visited a friend of mine and he showed me his PC with Ubuntu running on it. I really liked the style and therefore I wanted to modify my Windows XP so that it will look more like Ubuntu. I nearly found everything to transform it, apart from a fitting Logon. So I decided to create my own. Now, I wanna share it with you, I hope you all like it!This is my first logon ever, so please be kind with me

I made an english logonui.exe with a bigger background graphic for people with higher resolutions. People with lower resolutions can use this one as well.

My method is to simply extract the contetns of the zip file, delete logonui, then rename logonui_en to logonui. After that I double click the other file type... Not the configuration, but the one that opens LogonStudio. When applied it is not in English.

I see: You clicked on "Ubuntu Logon.logonxp" and applied it and the logon was in German, right? I haven't modified the .logonxp file [that's why it isn't called "Ubuntu Logon_en.logonxp] and just the logonui_en.exe is in English.

For some reason, this will not add the EN version to my LogonStudio...

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the error. Everything works fine here with the english version. Are you sure that you've selected the right file?

I made a modified logonui.exe for you. I haven't tested it, but it should work. Just download the logon again.

make it 1600*1200 res
and change the text to english....

Okay, here's the deal: Upload your english logonui.exe and send me a note with the link. Then I will modify it and add it to my Logon-pack. Is that okay for you?

It is done, please download the Zip again. You will find a file called "logonui_en.exe" in there. Just rename it into "logonui.exe" and replace it with your original one. I have also tested it and it should work so far.
