Oh yes, it's really real. There are 9 holes with three small locks going through each labia and behind the clitoris. It took two years before all 9 piercings were done and healed, and they were carefully planned to line up this way.
Of course this configuration was just for the photo. Most days she just wears a segment ring in each hole (one 4ga for the triangle piercing, two 6ga for the inner labia, and six 8ga for the outer labia).

She's much more sensitive. If you're asking about the triangle piercing, it goes underneath the clitoral bundle, so there's no interference with the nerves.

that's a very interesting modern version of the chastity belt, probably way more hygienic but looking more violent as well. on an artistic point of view it's really nice and the photo is just great, on a more personal point of view I guess I would be a bit disturbed to see this for real... Dee's piercings are for her physical pleasure and my own visual enjoyment. I don't see piercings as violent.
Locks are generally used to prevent violence. It's an interesting mental test to look at this image and decide whether you view it as locking Dee *in* or locking others *out*.

Basically I don't see piercing as violent as it's usually not much painful, even when the holes are progressively enlarged. However it can also be seen as some sort of mutilation, even if it's in order to visually enhance the body. In French we've got a sentence saying you've got to suffer to get beautiful (I guess there's an English equivalent), it's more than true
I hadn't seen the locks this way as I thought more of the imperious defensive aspect but that's very interesting as well.

Labia piercings heal very rapidly...a few weeks. Since the recommendation is never to get more than 3 piercings at a time, this took 3 piercing sessions spread over a year.
These locks are silver plated and suitable only for short-term wear (an hour or two). Just for the pictures.
These are 8 gauge locks.
