My first ninjago fanart! If I could draw humans or lego, I would have definitely done the ninja, but sadly I don't, so animalistic characters only. However, I might make the ninja into animals like these guys, but I'm not sure on that idea just yet. Anyways, I've been rewatching Dragons Rising recently, and I wanted to do some fanart of some of the new characters! I'll talk about Mr. Frohicky first, since he doesn't have as much depth as Ras.

He's a silly lil guy who wants to help, what else is there to say? I love him, I love his design and his voice, just everything! He may not have much screentime or deep, defining character traits just yet, but I'm hopeful for the future!
Then there's Ras. The more I think about this character and his story, the more I love him as a villain and a character! He starts off looking like he'll be a brute in charge, then it turns out he's a master manipulator who seems to be under the control of Beatrix, then we found out he was the one always in control. Then he has his master, who we still don't know yet, but I'm excited to see! I'm betting it's a source dragon who wants control of the others or something. Then there's Ras in season 2 so far... I love him, he's just so much better and intimidating and so cool! I love the animation detail where he runs on all fours sometimes in battle, it's a nice touch among all the amazing animation! I also love his fight with Arin, as well as the final fight! Just go watch Dragons Rising if you haven't already and are interested in Ninjago, it's such a good soft reboot for the series, and introduces some really good characters along with adding to some older ones!
