See, almost every red in both official Super Sentai and Power Rangers seasons (as well as each and every lead Kamen Rider since 1971 to this day) is a male because both Power Rangers and Super Sentai is a show made for boys in mind, so it makes sense from financial point of view to have them males most of the time.

And if one can't find female leads over there (except SPD and Shinkenger/PR Samurai), where else can I find such thing? Fan work like this one.
