This piece is entirely inspired by the Greek Goddess, Iris, who is said to be the personification of a rainbow and the Divine Messenger of Olympus. Being one of my keen interests, I just had to create a piece on Greek Mythology for AzaleasDolls-lovers 's Rainbow Contest ! I always imagined that Iris would have enormous rainbow wings, leaving a trail of colours behind her as she flew, along with her long golden hair (just like the gold at the end of the rainbow).
