I love how the colors seem very slightly gloomy in this picture with the contrast of the clouds. It really adds to the shot.

and my film shots were taken with black and white film

well i have my digital camera- an SLR canon rebel T1i
and i have my film camera- an SLR canon elan eos
both i adore greatly and treat them like as if they were my children. if you're not good at taking pictures, just get a regular point and shoot (unless you want to actually learn how to use all of the settings and are going to continue doing photography, then get an SLR)

i really like this, the composititon is right on the lines of motion of the clouds and the line of the dead tree contrast so that the tree stands out more. The bright blue of the sky contrasts the dull white of the clouds and the brown of the tree. This picture looks like it has some obscure inner meaning that is pretty much untouchable. Very good shot and you should do more of these.
