Description
Finished at last! he was not a fun project and took many MANY revisions! Hopefully the end result will please a fewAseem is charm and sophistication personified. He is the product of refined Indian Royal upbringing. Much to the dismay of his parents he also has a reputation as a Casanova and lady killer, certainly not becoming behavior of the future Maharajah. Aseem was sent to one of England's most prestigious universities, Oxford in hopes that the reserved and repressed nature of the British and its schooling system would have a positive impression on this Royal Casanova. It did! just not quite as his parents would have liked. When you befriend the likes of Oscar Wilde your tastes are anything but reserved and repressed, As his dear friend Oscar would say "I can resist anything but temptation".
Despite all this Aseem is fearlessly loyal and a brave fighter as well as a devout Hindu and will always use reason and non violent methods before raising his sword.
Aseem has big ambitions! due to his love of locomotives he has his own private two-storey steam train and has plans of creating a world wide train system that will help connect India to as many nations as possible to help increase trade as well as the wealth of his beloved country. He is due to meet a famous Italian industrialist in London to help his dreams come true but certain rumors about this mans true intentions as well as his methods has compelled the prince to do a little investigation.
As a child Aseem was involved in a horse riding accident and lost the use of both arms for quite sometime and as a result he was supplied with steam powered replacements until he could fully heal. These arms are actually directly linked to his central nervous system which means he has complete control over them as if they were his actual arms, they also have sensors attached so he can actually touch and feel. These arms became like second nature to Aseem that even when he had regained use of his arms, he opted to keep his robotic ones as well as have two more built and fitted, making him a multitasking master as well as a formidable fighter.
Each robotic hand carries weapons based on the sacred items of Vishnu.
Aseem is also an expert in the ancient fighting style of Kalaripayattu and wields a deadly Talwar sword named Shiva
The Ganesha upon his shoulder is a non violent weapon that can blind and disorientate his opponents with a cloud of bright colored and highly potent spices.
A huge thanks to the following artist for the use of their wonderful stock, which helped me create the background

Great job! Reminds me of Shirow Masamune's (Ghost in the Shell) artist calendar artwork of his female Kisangani designs.

Rocking concept, love the vibrant colors. I was bothered by the extra gears twirllng by his upper right arm, then realized they were chakram throwing stars! Wild!

Yeah i usually get to a point were another idea takes over my focus
and i end up with far less details than planned!
But yes, eventually we all manage to do some steps far quicker!
All a matter of will, time...and sleep deprivation!

Oh my god its so annoying, even when I'm trying to work one I still have like five other characters running through my head at the same time. I've had to force myself not to do any new sketches until I've done the backlog

Same with me! If i start a sketch the details for it take over!
If only the hands could be as fast as the mind!

Colorful chap! I really love the attention to detail here, and the care you took in researching the background... Hinduism is one of my favorite faiths to read about.

Thank you 😁 when I think of India and Hinduism in particular I just think of colour, I was quite inspired by those vintage hindu paintings.
Had a lot of fun researching for this one actually.
