Kind of, but not entirely into space and all that jazz Fuyuki likes. He's more into the mystical, magical stuff. Spirits, superstitions and what not.

Oo I love reading profiles like these. Nereus sounds like an awsome character cause of his interests in the occult. You seem to put alot of time into crafting him and I'm digging the fact that he looks like a believable character in the SE universe. For some reason I really like how you even showed the detail of his pendant. Can't wait to see what the partner looks like.

I like to take my time with them. For me, character creation is the best part of it all.
Yeah, his partner is Madisson. Their supposed to be opposites, yet somehow manage to do the whole soul link thing. I'll explain it better once I finish her profile. X]

Nereus is actually an original character for a Soul Eater story I've been working on. Soul Eater's been my current obsession, as you might have noticed due to the current submissions I've been making.
Yah, I've been using Illustrator since I don't have a tablet or scanner. Drawing with the pen is Illustrator is the easiest way for me to draw on the laptop at the moment.
But making anything from scratch on Illustrator is tiresome (for me anyways), thus why I didn't shade the monstrosity.
