One of Levehd's small projects was a private investigator business, which Kheled and Astrid helped with. Years later, after finally acclimating to city life, Kheled received a letter cryptically marked "from the governing council" informing him that their uncle would provide services for them and would be indefinitely unavailable. A day or two later, they received a package from their uncle, leaving them money and asking them to move themselves and the business to a remote island they had never heard of, Hearthaven.
