Meet my Death Note OC
This is from a long time again don’t laugh at me.
His cover name is Mako his real name is Mason Satō, he grew up in the Wammy House along with Matt, Mello, and Near.
He was in the top percentile but 4th so he didn’t completely throw himself into the obsession of succeeding L.
He has a talent especially for Music and Language Comprehension (As well as a smaller talent for martial arts when he was taught.)
After leaving the Wammy House he pursued a job as a translator for the CIA but left it when Mello contacted him to help him work the Kira case.
He was there during the Warehouse Explosion incident though mostly out of the building. Still he was close enough to get burns on his back, a broken arm, and hearing damage.
Before the final mission Matt and Mello drugged Mako and delivered him to Near so if anything went wrong he wouldn’t die, Mako was traumatized seeing Matt’s death and hearing about Mello’s later. He worked the rest of the case with Near and afterwards continued to be a part of the SPK with the Near now taking the name L.
Mako became his face the way Watari was for L, he also used the code name Mello from then on so that Mello wouldn’t disappear. (He still has to wear a hearing aid)
