Description
For spring the fillies were let to run in the upper mountain pastures where their legs and lungs could grown strong, and they could become sure footed. Entrusted with teaching the youngsters were Angel and Nutmeg, the mustang mares imported from america.
Being the lead mare, indesputedly, Nutmeg naturally felt the need to investigate the scent of new horses. Her abrupt departure was unsettling to the others.
Xyrena made ready to follow her immediately, Farfalla was only curious. Angel was quite upset, snorting the widening her eyes, unbelieving of the bay mare's crass behavior.
