Hey, I figure this will probably be too simple for a lot of you, but I'd really really appreciate any feedback on how to clarify and simplify it further.I designed this project in part to use the different tools and movements that I use in my tree pendant, hoping to give a smaller project with more bits to practice. It threw my students for more of a loop than I thought it would, though it did indeed prepare them well for the tree.
I'd like to run the class again in the Spring, and am trying to get the courage to approach a closer adult ed program about running it, so I'd love any sort of feedback from newbies and experts alike!

Thank you. It depends on what I want them for, I tend to do half and half, but since the spirals tie up one end they feel a little more stable for bracelet links that way. I also sometimes use them as extenders with my smaller tree pendants.

Well, I'm a complete noob, so this is all exotic and fascinating to me. I might give this a go, now I know what size wire to get, and let you know how it went.
You must have put a lot of work and time into this, Miss Magpie.. Thank you so much for doing it! I'm hoping to learn some basic wire work, both for earrings and tiny, doll-sized crowns.

I haven't done much doll jewelry. Just that quatrefoil bit with the spiral, which I worked into a doll necklace awhile ago.

There is great value in knowledge. Even when one thinks they have mastered a technique, revisiting the basics is never a bad practice.
