VIEW FULL SIZE I swear the picture wasn't that sketchy before I scanned it. I'll fix it some more later.

I've recently become obsessed with The Hunger Games series. I love it so much! I'd suggest it The Hunger Games and Catching Fire to anyone with a pulse.

For this picture, I based some of their designs off of the actors that I'd like to play them in the movie or that I think resemble them. Scanner pretty much made my colors a lot lighter than they are. Man, I can't wait until I get Photoshop:

KATNISS- Original design. I can't imagine who could play her, so I just drew her how I imagined her.

PEETA- He is actually a mixture of Ed Speleers and William Mosley. I couldn't decide which one I liked better for him.

GALE- Gale is loosely based off of Rob Mayes and my own imagination. I don't think he should play him. He just has the look that I imagined. Gale is just too sexy. I don't know who could play him. lol. That thing he's holding? It's a snare. I actually had to Google a type of snare, and that was the easiest hand-held one to draw.

HAYMITCH- Gerard Butler. He plays sloppy VERY well and is actually pretty much a real-life Haymitch. He even says "sweetheart" a lot in real life conversations. Just tone down his accent and he could work. Him or Robert Downey, Jr.

EFFIE TRINKET- Loosely based off of Emily Blunt. She would make a perfect Effie, I think. She's actually kind of pink in this picture, but my scanner toned it down too much Her hair is actually directly based off of Karen Kasumi's in the anime series, X. I wanted to give her a snobby, holier than thou, "I don't want to be here" expression. lol.

CINNA- Very loosely based off of Ioan Gruffoud and my own design. That's how I saw him. I pictured him having a friendly and innocent-looking face but with a hint of mischievousness in him.

MRS. EVERDEEN- Based off of Carla Gugino, only blonde. She plays those roles well, and she is very pretty. You could see how she could've had the guys falling for her in the past.

PRIM- Based off of a younger Elle Fanning and a cherub angel. Elle is literally the only person I pictured playing Prim, especially in Catching Fire. Looking back at her now, I notice that she actually looks much more like a blonde Jodelle Ferland than anything. That's weird. lol.

Originally, I had planned Rue to be next to Cinna, but I couldn't seem to draw her pose correctly. I might add her later.

Overall, unlike with most of my drawings, I'm very happy with how it came out. I worked a ton on it, and I'm still not completely finished picking at it. Everyone came out exactly like I pictured them in my head, though. Maybe not how everyone agrees that they may look, but I'm overjoyed, nonetheless.
