I just got a core membership, and I'm very happy about this, but it's only for one month! So I'm trying to save up to extend my membership ;;

My new account PastelBerryBun doesn't have the core yet but I am hopping they transfer the core I have on this account to that one

Does it take awhile to get there?

does core membership permit group uploading from stash?   Currently non-core members can only "post" one photo at a time.   Under the old system I recall there was a function that permitted "tagging" and "posting" a whole group of photos at the same time.   

I'm no longer a core (premium member) and opened another account due to the fact that deviant art keeps changing things in frustrating ways.   Just changing the rules one day and having 4,000 of my photos lose all their tags was a enough to piss a subscriber off.  Unfortunately deviant art does have some photosharing aspects that are beneficial.   So before I slap down the new (and highly increased!!!) price, I need to know if I'll be stuck posting a single photo at a time and if they're planning any other retroactive surprises that totally destroy a user's portfolio.

Sorry but since I become a core I have less views than before.... Why??? I've read that core membership gives you some privileges like increased visibility. But really??? OK, it's important to support art, but Deviantart is supporting more and more who supports this site with money ??? Please let me know how get more visibility. Thank you.

I'm seriously disappointed at the fact that they took off Till Hell Freezes Over. Was looking forward to getting it, then again I don't think it would've been worth it with these recent changes. Sorry dA staff, there really hasn't been genuine improvements with the changes applied to the site, just appearance for the sake of something fresh.

Honestly, this wasn't fair. I think DA should have asked Premium Members if they wanted to be core, then there wouldn't be such a fuss. For hobbyists, most would have chosen Premiums. For professionals, most would have chosen Core.

Not many people including myself like the orange.

I honestly dont see any real good to come out of the change..the more money users sppend trying to get Core, the less they may have to commission artists.

I would say it is just Premium...and the price is the price...but I resent that it does not entitle you to any extra exposure and further money still is asked for for "AdCast" and such so that a decent amount of people get to see your work...Seems like the primary reason I and plenty of others have this membership is that we are decent people with enough means to do so...Does not seem to help how many people actually view the works and especially does not help sales in any way.

I don't entirely mind the change (though it would've been nice to get a announcement beforehand) but I dislike the new symbol change. Because of the more eye-grabbing design, every time I see a username, the first thing that grabs my attention is if they have a core membership or not. It's kind of automatically assumed that if you're a good artist or writer, you'd have a membership, and those who don't aren't as...legit, I guess? The new orange symbol really draws attention to that. 

(And also, bright orange against pale green isn't the prettiest of combinations.)

Core is... bullshit?
Price was raised wildly with no real new benefits to make up for it as of yet.

I personally think core is just premium membership. No need to poeticize it. Frankly, I don't think anybody considering the payment of real money out of their poor entrepreneurial pockets directly to you will give a damn about the flowery language all over this post. I also strongly dislike that you use the phrase "additional special offers in the future" near the end... it seems uncertain. You're going to completely overhaul the premium membership system which has been in place for however many years now, and you seem to not have a clue how you're going to make core membership worth its wildly inflated price in the future. This will almost certainly turn people off of buying core until said improvements are put into effect - including myself. And what kind of overhaul is increasing the price and only saying you'll improve features in the future? In my opinion, you should have waited until said improvements were slated out to implement these changes.

Regardless, you've also unwittingly created a minor depression by increasing prices. Already I see comments on this post saying things like "my business on DA was doing just fine until core showed up, then people immediately stopped commissioning me and buying adopts from my other account as they desperately tried to save up points for core". Any economist or even psychologist could tell you how much trouble this is going to create, at least in the short term. People often buy points in small amounts at first, for small purchases. Things like adoptables, art commissions, etc. from other amateur artists. This gets new users interested in the economy, and as they appreciate the things they purchase they become more confident in larger purchases; these are often made out to larger artists who produce even more satisfying work, and a cycle begins. This positive feedback loop continues until the user is confident enough to finally acquire a premium membership, and everyone is happy. With this drastic increase in price - especially because it's so easy to compare this membership with the previous service - customer confidence in the premium membership will go down. The positive feedback loop described earlier will be less efficient because artists will not be raising prices in response to this; they'll just be kept the same as they've always been. Core membership will become a larger jump from higher-end commission prices to a full membership. Ironically, this trends towards a decrease in sales for you.

A Wild bad english speaker appeared!

This sounds expensive to me, if I gotta pay with credit card the cost won't be 500ARS, it will raise a lot more (it's like freaking Minecraft, in the official page you SUPPOSEDLY pay "150ARS" but the real price is around 300ARS with credit card, but you keep it forever!), you feel the pain every month, every dollar here cost (almost) 13ARS for credit cards, therefore, things like discount in prints or put yourself a price to them.... I don't need that, you can't even choose what you want from the pack. The other features, hmmm are okay, but they don't worth that much to pay 50US$ every year, there are a lot of issues in the site; bugs, theft, "trolls" and the uncapability of "censore" adult content (I like nudes but sometimes I see nasty things and I don't want remember them). People complain about these issues and is very understandable that they don't wanna pay with all these problems.
And I think dA should pay special attention in basic members than PREMIUM, in first place, you gotta ERASE from your system every fake account or banned accounts, some people get crazy looking for available names (and the fact some trolls were unbanned), and give attention to good basic memebers artists, the true UNDISCOVERED artists.
Other thing that would be fair for every person member of this site (I've been here for 8 years) to decide in every sense in this site, like a democratic-ish relationship, let us decide the changes!! Orange doesn't represent dA at all! GREEN is our color! let everyone to know what are you doing with the money, it isn't enough to be a IMPORTANT CONTRIBUTOR OF MONEY in this society, people will pay 20 bucks in contribution, what will you do with that money? I contributed with art for 8 years to this site and, you know? I remember better times in 2008 and 2007 (I know this site since 2006 but not member till 2008). PLEASE! Use pools and BALLOTAGE! (yeah, it may sound crazy but it works) make journals telling us what are your future projects, I mean, there must be some undone projects down the carpet, and it cost money, let us decide if they are okay or not!
Maybe with some GOOD changes I would think in buy a subcrption, I always wanted one but not in these instances.

the documentation for the process of designing the new symbols shows all of them in the usual deviant colors, but now suddenly its bright orange. non of the other current symbols differ like this.
