It would be one kind of shot if I knew the kid and asked him to jump.  But he had launched himself from the step behind the sitting girl which was the intended focus for the shot.  I appreciate that he added another forward layer to what was already planned as a layered frame. This is full frame with a slight horizon adjustment. I love that she clearly could have cared less.
