Beautiful idea! I might want to make something similar, maybe one to hold about 5-7 miniatures in order to present my latest squads of marines!
My first idea was a full 24 by 24 inch display board that'll work for a full Armies on Parade submission, but this might be a good idea to practice on a much smaller scale

I think at its better make little vignette than keep figures in the box.

Or just standing on the shelf! Not all miniatures need something like this, but others sure do!Β
