The oldtimer in this photo is (to the best of my knowledge) a Mercedes Benz 170V Cabriolet A - around 800 cars of that model were produced (should it be the B model then about 8000 models were built) between 1936 and 1940 when the various versions of the 170V were built.With a total of nearly 72,000 models in various variants the 170V was the most successful pre-war (WW2 - just to clear it up for the nit-pickers
) cars built by Mecedes Benz.Taken during the Oldtimer meet in Staufen (Germany) a few weeks ago.

holy! that is a stunning shot of a stunning car!!! the angle is great and really shows the curves and the background and people frame the car itself while not distracting from it! love it, love it, love it!
