Description
Strolling through the night...Location: Titisee (Black Forest), Germany
++++
This image is a perfect example why accidents in the darkroom can sometimes be the best thing to happen. In this case I was enlarging a b&w medium format negative on a color enlarger. But I forgot to step down the lens and as such overexposed the paper by about 2 full steps.
Together with a little bit of dust on the negative this resulted in the appearance of a star- and moon-lit night, where in reality it was a daytime photo... I later enlarged the image again at the correct settings, but I must say it was much more boring and "normal" than this one.
I'm glad I had this accident as I like the result very much, and hope you do so too.

Film: Fujifilm Acros ISO100 (120 format)
Paper: Kodak Ultra Endura
scanned @ 800 dpi
Postwork: Frame, removal of some dust introduced by scanning

I certainly do like the result very much - Are you planning to try the same on some of your other photos?

Thank you for the comment.
Yes I'll probably do that with several others too, in fact I have a couple already done but not yet decided which ones to scan.
Deciding on the right color can be hard (and even harder to get the right filter settings for that color...).
