These flaming humanoids from the volcanic planet Fernus have long puzzled xenobiologists, as their bodily makeup seems to be equal parts mineral and organic life. A proud and traditionalist race, the Pyron civilization is divided into several castes, though their children DO have the right to select which caste they will join as adults and can thus adjust their education accordingly. They are ruled by a single royal family who are protected at all times by the elite of the Warrior-Caste, the Dragon-Fangs.
