Hey everybody, been taking a break from this for a little bit but I'm back with a new model, this time with the second Exohuman weapon in my 3D arsenal. This is the Exohuman Slicer bolt-action sniper rifle, standard sniper weapon of the Exohuman armed forces and the bane of many UNMC soldiers. The idea was to keep in the general tradition of Exohuman weapon design being bulky, simplistic, and mean looking, but also to give it a little more flair than most of their other weapons since this one is considered a high honor to wield. Also, i added the interesting combination of a bolt action rifle and the futuristic tech of the Contention universe. Bolt actions seem to hold a sort of old and slightly obsolete view in modern times with all the automatic and semi automatic weapons, so i thought this would be an interesting take on a weapon from the 24th century. The manner which the weapon works emphasizes careful aiming and dead on precision to Exohuman troops, as the pullback bolt has to be cocked after every shot. Although, not any Exohuman warrior gets to carry this weapon, only soldiers of extreme skill with tactful and sharp minds are trusted to be a sniper and wield the Slicer rifle, called "Ghosts" by the UNMC. The Slicer garnered its interesting name due the rounds it fires. Like many Exohuman weapons, its rounds are superheated before being fired, and as such have a devastating effect on infantry armor, literally slicing pieces off of it and leaving a trail of superhot metal from grazing shots.
