Indeed, future is in Open Source :] I totally agree with you :]
Very nice concepts, just be cautious with patents.
What you think about Compiz Fusion [Hardware accelerated]? And XCompMGR [Software accelerated]?
Wouldn't be better to do a fork from Compiz Fusion/XCompMGR? Os just some robust plugins/extensions to Compiz Fusion/XCompMGR?

Thanks so much!
I used a lot compiz + compiz fusion (but I don't know XCompMGR), and I think that it is a great software and innovation... But I prefer if this effect are included in the window manager like kwin in kde4, also beacouse something (like the zui zoomable user interface) is not possible with only compiz without lose definition...
But sure just make a compiz plugin would be great..
an exemple of the zui : [link]

You're welcome
Oh i see, and understood your point, very nice idea indeed dude [Built it on the Window Manager]
Compiz Fusion is very heavy (On Firefox browsing only) on my machine and so XCompMGR (Give a look on it, it is very nice to use with Openbox and other lightweight Window Managers).
For the Zoom effect, i think it is possible to assign it (Compiz Fusion have two tools for zooming with high quality definition) to the Mouse Wheel on CCSM, but i'm not shure, i didn't had tried it.
I don't like Compiz Fusion, actually, because it's slow/heavy to browse on Firefox, and a little heavy to use on day-by-day use, but i understand it is a great tool and a very eye candy Linux marketing, and i would like to see it improves.

No need to sorry about dude, English is not my native language as well xD
Hmmm, i think i understood now what you meant about the lost resolution issue, and yeah, zoom on a single windows at a time would be awesome! Propose it on Compiz Fusion forums, i think it would be nice, you have nice ideas
