This is a working sketch for a cosplay I'm putting together. The costume started as a "fancy" version of the Super Princess Peach/Mario Party dress with the dark pink puffs. But I was stuck on some details and it sat, unfinished, for about a year.

Then I saw the Super Smash Bros. Brawl trailer that showed the newest version of Peach, and I decided to take the dress in that direction. There are some elements of both dresses here.

My dress has sheer sleeves and a sheer overlayer on the skirt. I'm going to cut the overlayer into the split skirt and add the gold designs to that. You'll be able to see the regular pink fabric underneath, along with whatever those pink lines are (ribbons? gathering?)

The problem is with the designs on the bodice. This is a creative interpretation for now, as I couldn't get a clear look at the design. Hopefully the official SSBB site releases a page on Peach before too long!
