Hahah thankz. Personally, the more I look at the mouth/nose thing the more I see a clothes hanger jamed into the front of his face... Maybe that can be his back story... 'there was a tragic dry cleaning accident in which a clothes hanger mysteriously got itself lodged into his nasal chamber, that with no amount of surgery could be removed...sooooo he had skin grafted around it to try to pass it off as his own natural look, but now everyone makes fun of him for having a stupid face. Sooooo now he starves himself in hopes of becoming the hot new look in the modeling industry, which of course will cause hordes of people to jam clothes hangers into their own faces so they can look just like, Bert (I decided that this is his name from now on)' Oooooooor, we can just go with it's a flute-like proboscis that he uses as a way to communicate and attract mates. Either/or.
