I think tentacle rape was established in hentai because of the strict regulations regarding the depiction of genitals in Japan. They weren't allowed to draw penises, so they replaced them with tentacles.

Ok, so, I think it was two years ago that they had a late night 18+ panel called "Do it yourself Bukkake".
