I envy how well you make your backgrounds and coloring. I'm trying out landscapes it's so difficult, but then I look at yours and you started somewhere... It's just amazing, your style is so mystic and beautiful.

Thank you so much! It's difficult but don't give up, I know how it feels when you're learning and it seems like nothing you do is right but if you keep painting and studying you'll be able to do landscapes sooner than you expect Art is so rewarding, you can only improve!

Thanks a lot! Yes some of them are quite creepy and gory The Juniper Tree included, but I wanted to concentrate more on the "lyrical" side of it, like the boy transformation into a bird and the redemption he seeks and ultimately gains.

I love how you've painted the feathers to be growing out of his hands, the juniper is perfect, and I just lvoe the added splash of blue around his eyes; it gives it such a vibrancy.
