Everyone meet Lunar, a stallion I'm hoping to adopt from *kalmakoira ! [link] He, unlike most other adoptables I try for, has a story that intertwines with Teravanian tales. I had that much fun with him! I also tried really hard on this drawing and I'm so happy with the outcome. My first try at a background in a while. Crits welcome!!

So here he is :

Name: Lunar
Nickname: Lou
Gender: stallion
Age: about 16 horse years
Height: 18.6hh (6.2 ft)
Breed: Gypsy Vanner
Accessories: A gold metal ring that surrounds his right ear and has a small star and hummingbird feather hanging from it
Personality: quiet, sweet, enjoys warm weather, loving, loyal, trusting, sensitive, careful, caring, shy, not good with words, gentle, smart, "well-read", "adorable" kind of charm, goes with the flow, loves the moon, fair
History: Having been born and rasied during the contraversial time of the Pirate Wars, Lunar was always afraid of losing his family, a small herd, to the violence. He grew up in the rural country of Glarian. Lou was always quiet and and prefered to study/observe the world around him rather then play. But he was a smart child and as he entered his adolescent years, he was fascinated with the four heros: Sirius, Dami, Keeran, and Ammie. He idolized them and was in awe of their brave defeat of the ruthless pirate lords. When he heard of the libraries he could find nestled in the Alorian cliffs, he was extremely excited. As soon as he could, Lou got a ride with a ape-captined cargo ship headed toward Ahdara. On-board, he met a young orphaned foal named Tristian. The young palamino looked up to the scholar-like draft, an unexpected event for the always quiet Lunar. Although Tristain was a lot to handle for the passive stallion, he agreed to take him with him to the libraries. He nicknamed his young new friend Socrates after an Arth(Earth) philosopher he read about in the scrolls at the libraries. While at the libraries, Lunar also makes friends with an eccentric and colorful hummingbird scolar named Noni, who gave Lou the feather on his earring. As for Tristain, the colt had never been happier, he had finally found a "father". Lunar and Socrates settled in Chaylon, where they hope to one day meet their heros.
