Rowan - former keaper of the Grandchildren, though closer to the truth would be to call him an observer. Patron of the arts.He took the physical form of a puppet. From his hands and feet dangle fragments of strings. His face has no expression. It has no mouth, ears or nose. Only the eyes are red like fruits of rowan. His coat consist mainly of leather belts, with masks attached to it. By using them he can take various forms.

So this must be the same Rowan as in chapter 2? Did just his design change or can he take more forms? I guess Matilin would have had it harder to trust him with this shape.

neat design. I love the puppet look, the dreads(??), and the multiple mask. The beady red eyes also give him a really cool otherworldly look.
